During the semester of 2020 the Urban Trigger Studio have been working in two groups with the title
GASTRONOMY AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT IN TRØNDELAG.
Today, Trøndelag county in Norway is one of the biggest food sources in the country, but what is the real potential? How can we cultivate todays activity and culture and at the same time make the big shift towards a sustainable and self-sufficient food production?
In a time where we grow accustomed to natural disasters happening more frequently, pandemics become the new normal, and the globe is in a political unrest, we should look forward and prepare for the possible future to come.
What role does food production, cultivation and processing play in our daily life? And in which way does it effect our urban and rural landscape? What is the city without food?
